Before using your new Ikonic saddle for the first time, treat it thoroughly at least twice with Ikonic leather oil.
To avoid permanent damage to the leather, using the right care products is essential. Use the care products we have developed.
For this type of calf-lined saddle, we recommend not over-oiling, but rather using a cleaning cream or our glycerine soap. Excessive oiling of supple leathers causes the fiber to "swell" and the supple leather loses all chance of patina and abrasion resistance.
